What We Do

The Last Frontier Tree Farm is a family-owned purveyor of organic, locally grown Christmas trees. Our trees are pesticide free. Choose and cut your own. Hand saws and twine provided. No need to bring your own. Due to the environmental impact of plastic netting, we no longer offer bailing services for trees. Please bring a blanket, sheet, drop cloth or tarp to wrap your tree in if desired.

Location

We are located on Mount Vernon Road in picturesque Southington, CT, just north of Mount Southington Ski Area.

We’ve reached our quota for the year and are now closed for the season. Thanks to everyone who supported the farm this year! Happy Holidays! See you next year.

Tree Care

• Place your freshly cut tree into a stand full of water as soon as possible.

• If unable to place in a water filled stand, trees can be stored temporarily in a cool place for several days in a bucket of water.

• If a layer of sap forms at the base of the trunk, cut a 1/2″ off of the base to allow for water absorption.

• No additives are needed in the water.

• Keep tree away from sources of heat.

• Maintain a constant level of water in the stand for your tree to remain happy and healthy throughout the holiday season.
